What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and the contact form on it. Each of our apps (including Landed, Finova, Kalyverr, FlyWatch, iKalyna, KalyGo, Kaly Moments and Kalyvo) has its own privacy policy, available in the app and on its store listing, which explains the information that app uses. Where you use one of our apps, its own privacy policy applies to that use.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message, plus your company name and phone number if you choose to give them. Please do not include sensitive information (such as health or financial details) in your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
  • Abuse protection. To stop spam, the contact form keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address together with the times of recent submissions. It cannot be read back to your IP address.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who host this website and handle our email, acting on our instructions and under contract;
  • Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces on this website, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads;
  • Professional advisers (such as lawyers and accountants) where needed;
  • Authorities, courts or regulators where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others;
  • a buyer or successor if our business, or part of it, is reorganised or sold.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we make sure it is protected by an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another safeguard recognised under UK law.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a working relationship, in which case we keep them for as long as needed for that relationship and our legal and accounting obligations.
  • Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider, normally a few weeks.
  • Abuse-protection records: only recent submission times are used; older entries are discarded.

How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and secure hosting. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to deal promptly with any incident.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • have your information deleted;
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
  • receive your information in a portable format, where this applies;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email info@ikalyo.com. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
